In the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, unknown persons attacked fans from Israel who came to the match between the football clubs Ajax and Maccabi (Tel Aviv) on the street.
As reported by Ukrinform, The Times of Israel reports this.
It is noted that after the end of the match, Israeli fans were attacked, in particular, with the use of knives.
Videos that have surfaced on social media show brutal attacks by masked people, some carrying Palestinian flags and shouting "free Palestine."
Several attempted kidnappings have been reported on social networks. The attackers also broke into the hotels where the Israelis stayed.
According to unconfirmed reports, as a result of the pogroms, more than 30 residents of Israel were injured, and two people went missing.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered two planes to Amsterdam to bring the Israelis home.
He also called on Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof and local security forces to "act decisively and quickly against the attackers and ensure the well-being of our citizens."
