Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Ukraine may soon receive a declaration of ceasefire from the United States. In particular, it is about the date, when it will take effect, and about security guarantees.

Thus, commenting on the plan of the newly elected 47th US President Donald Trump regarding Ukraine, which was partially disclosed to the media, he emphasized that it is at the stage of preparation.

"In his opinion, in the near future we can expect a declaration, in particular, regarding the date of the ceasefire, on which border it will operate, and security guarantees for Ukraine," - writes the publication.

Tusk is convinced that it is about decisions that will involve less intervention of the United States in Ukrainian affairs.

At the same time, he noted that decisions about the war in Ukraine cannot be made through "the heads of not only Ukrainians, but also Poles."

Earlier, the mass media wrote that the Prime Minister of Poland will soon meet with the leaders of European states and NATO, with whom he will discuss, in particular, the war in Ukraine. Because after the election of Donald Trump as the US president, it is necessary to discuss "new geopolitical realities".




"There is no doubt that the new political landscape is a serious challenge for everyone, especially in the context of a possible end to the Russian-Ukrainian war as a result of an agreement between, for example, the president of Russia and the new president of the United States," - he informed.
