Donald Trump's adviser said that it is already "unrealistic" to return Crimea to Ukraine. However, the newly elected president's office denied such a statement.
This is reported by Reuters.
A representative of Donald Trump said that Republican Brian Lanza, who has outlined some of the potential contours of a US-backed peace plan in Ukraine, was not speaking on behalf of the president-elect.
Moreover, a Trump spokesman denied that a longtime Republican strategist who was a contractor for the Trump campaign was speaking on his behalf.
He also stressed that Trump's transition team is currently reviewing staff and developing policies that Trump could adopt during his second term.
