Citizens of the Balkan countries, Estonia and Russia are being prosecuted in the case of drug supply.
In the Leningrad region of Russia, the transit channel for the supply of drugs from Latin America to EU countries was blocked. A little more than a ton of cocaine was seized. This was reported by the FSB of the Russian Federation on Friday, November 8.
It is claimed that five people - citizens of the Balkan countries, Estonia and Russia - were involved in drug transit. Drugs worth more than 3,5 billion rubles (almost $36 million – ed.) were seized from them. The court arrested the accused.
The drugs were planned to be transported across the border in a truck equipped with a "high-tech hiding place." Cocaine was packed in briquettes weighing 1 kg each.
