The conflict broke out on Saturday evening when four drivers drank alcohol and argued. Ionut B., a 38-year-old driver from Romania, said that he tried to calm down his colleagues and asked them to lower the volume of the music, but they did not react and continued to loudly discuss political topics. The dispute over the war and Russia's role escalated after 20 p.m., eventually turning into a fight.
As a result of the clash, the 34-year-old Ukrainian died on the spot. The police arrested three other participants in the incident, aged 35, 41 and 45. One of the detainees is a citizen of Uzbekistan.
