A new group of Ukrainian Patriot air defense system operators was trained in Germany

In Germany, the training of the fourth group of Ukrainian operators of the Patriot air defense system was completed. This was reported by the German Air Force.

The department said that the successful completion of the exercises is intended to strengthen the air defense of Ukraine against attacks by aircraft, missiles and cruise missiles. For security reasons, the number of Ukrainians who have undergone the relevant training is not known.

The training was conducted by the European Union Military Assistance Mission to Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine). Within its framework, the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trained according to the standards of the armed forces of the EU countries to repel Russian aggression.

"We successfully trained Ukrainian soldiers to work with Patriot air defense systems, giving them critical skills to protect their skies and infrastructure," EUMAM Ukraine shared.

Patriot air defense system - what is known

Patriot is an American anti-aircraft missile system in service with the United States and some other countries of the world, including Ukraine. The air defense system was created as a universal means of air defense of the military's positional areas at medium and high altitudes.
