I tried this dish when I was a child in Transcarpathia, it's cabbage rolls made from sour sauerkraut. I make a very tasty stuffing, cabbage rolls - you'll lick your fingers!
Ingredients:
- 3-4 bulbs
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 Art. l. tomato paste
- salt, black pepper, red wig to taste
- 100 ml water
- 2 glasses rice
- sauerkraut leaves
- 300 g of minced meat (I have pork and chicken)
- oil for frying 4-5 tbsp. l.

Preparation:
I heat the oil, fry the finely chopped onion until transparent, add the carrot cut into strips, stew for a little while.
I add tomato paste, paprika, salt and black pepper, mix. I pour a little more water.
I wash the rice several times under water, add it to the pan, mix it, turn off the heat and let the rice soak.
Then I add minced meat and mix everything well.
I take cabbage leaves, put the filling on it.
I roll the cabbage rolls into triangles.
I put cabbage leaves on the bottom of the pan and lay out cabbage rolls. I fill it with boiled hot salted water to the middle, put small pieces of lard, put it on fire, cover it with a plate.
On the second day, I like to fry it in a pan in oil until golden brown. Very tasty cabbage rolls, try them!
