The USA and Britain attacked the capital of Yemen - they destroyed the Houthis' weapons depots

The United States and Great Britain struck the capital of Yemen, Sana'a, and other areas, destroying the weapons depots of the Houthi militants.

This is reported by Reuters, Ukrinform reports.

Yemeni media and local residents reported that about nine attacks targeted Sana'a, its suburbs and Amran province.

The attacks were carried out by Iran-linked Houthi militants, who have been attacking international shipping near Yemen since last November in a show of solidarity with the Palestinians in Israel's war with Hamas.

The Times of Israel noted that American warplanes on Saturday night carried out numerous strikes on Houthi weapons storage facilities in Yemen, and this information was confirmed by the Pentagon. The weapon was used for attacks on military and civilian vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, said a representative of the US Department of Defense.
