The USA is preparing statements regarding the war in Ukraine - Tusk

Europe in general and, in particular, Poland "will bear much greater responsibility for their own security in the coming months," the Polish Prime Minister believes.

In the near future, the United States of America may issue a declaration regarding the date of the ceasefire in Ukraine and security guarantees for Kyiv. This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Saturday, November 9, writes Polish Radio.

The official emphasized that the peace plan, which Trump previously talked about, is probably only in the preparation stage.

In his opinion, in the near future we can expect a declaration, in particular, regarding the date of the ceasefire on the territory of Ukraine, a statement about the border and security guarantees for Ukraine.

"These will definitely be solutions that will involve less US interference in Ukrainian affairs," Tusk explained.

At the same time, he expressed confidence that both Ukraine and its allies will be involved in the final decisions.

"Decisions regarding the war in Ukraine cannot be made through the heads of not only Ukrainians, but also ours," Tusk said.

Donald Trump, who won the elections in the USA, may try to negotiate with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to end Russia's war with Ukraine. But such an agreement, most likely, will not be in the interests of Europe and Ukraine. This was announced by the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, on Friday.

The dialogue between the leader of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the elected president of the USA Donald Trump has already been established. The teams will start organizing their meeting.
