A dog has come up with a creative way to ask for food

This smart dog, who lives on the streets of Bangkok, has learned to fake an injury in order to attract attention and get a treat from people walking down the street.

The janitor, who the locals call Gai, drags his back left paw along the ground as if it were broken.

But as soon as people gather around her, trying to help, Gai gets up and leaves as if nothing happened.

Bangkok resident Taviporn Chongplapolkul, who has been watching the dog for several years (he keeps several dogs at home and helps homeless animals), says Gai always does this trick to fool people.

"I feed her rice, but she also has this habit. She is very smart. I think Gai does this to get people to feed her. We checked both of her paws and they are fine. If He had any damage, I would have taken him to the vet immediately,” Taviporn said.
