Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump
The head of the Kremlin admitted the possibility of negotiations with Trump, but he himself has not yet called him.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin congratulated Donald Trump on his election to the post of US president and declared his readiness for a discussion with him. The head of the Kremlin said this at the plenary session of the Valdai discussion club in Sochi on Thursday, November 7.
"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him on his election to the post of President of the United States. As I have already said, we will work with any head of state trusted by the American people. This will really be the case in practice," Putin said.
The Russian dictator added that he is ready for contacts with Trump and "does not consider it shameful" to call him. But he does not do this allegedly because "the leaders of Western countries suddenly stopped calling him."
