A study by University College London shows that after the age of 50, people begin to sleep more.
Scientists conducted a survey among 730 people from 63 countries. It turned out that between the ages of 30 and 50, respondents slept less than seven hours a day, but after 53, the duration of sleep increased. 60-year-old respondents reported that they slept for seven hours or more.
Researchers also found that in some countries, people sleep 20-40 minutes longer regardless of age. The list of countries includes Albania, Slovakia, Romania and the Czech Republic.
