The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV entered the European market and received the first First Edition configuration.
It's been a while since Mitsubishi brought the new Outlander back to the European market, and recently the model debuted in a PHEV plug-in hybrid version. This is reported by Motorcar.
The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has already gone on sale, in particular in Spain, and now the details of the first configuration have been released. Made in Japan at the Okazaki plant, the model will debut as a First Edition and will be available for a limited time.
First Edition package
For a certain time, it will be the most exclusive (and best equipped) version of the Japanese SUV. It will sit above the Motion, Kaiteki and Kaiteki+ variants.

- The e-Call emergency system The price of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV First Edition in Spain is €62.Under the hoodThe First Edition version offers a 2,4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, two electric motors and a high-capacity lithium-ion battery. It produces a total power of 306 hp. (225 kW) and 400 Nm of maximum torque. The SUV is driven by an automatic transmission and an intelligent all-wheel drive system S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control). In addition, the driving mode selector allows you to control the operation of the PHEV system.
The new Outlander PHEV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7,9 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 170 km/h. The manufacturer promises an average fuel consumption of 0,8 liters per 100 kilometers and CO2 emissions of 19 g/km according to the WLTP cycle. Thanks to a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 22,7 kWh, the model can travel up to 100 kilometers in 86% electric mode.
Deliveries of the novelty to customers will begin at the beginning of next year.
