Experts emphasize: the service life of any car depends on proper maintenance. However, it is important to perform it correctly, otherwise you can only do harm. This also applies to the automatic transmission (automatic transmission), writes SUV News.
An experienced mechanic points out that many drivers mistakenly think that the transmission fluid lasts for decades, and therefore do not replace it. In fact, a complete replacement should be done every 50–000 km. Partial replacement is popular because it is simpler and does not require disassembling the transmission.
The mechanic explains that a partial replacement of the transmission fluid should be done twice as often as a complete replacement. At the same time, it is important to add liquid of the same specification as before. If you fill in another lubricant, breakdown can happen even faster than if the fluid is not changed at all.
