In 2025, two major electric new cars will appear in the Kia lineup, the EV2 and EV9 GT models, which will be at the extremes of the Korean brand's zero-emissions family. Kia's compact electric SUV will stretch to about 4 meters, being 30 cm less than its older brother EV3. Despite the dimensions, the car should offer generous capacity thanks to the 2,56-meter wheelbase.
It is expected that the novelty will receive two variants of batteries: with a capacity of 42 kWh. with a chemical composition of LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) and an NMC battery with a capacity of 62 kWh. respectively according to the WLTP cycle.
The EV2 should compete with the VW ID.2, Cupra Raval and Fiat Grande Panda.
Restyled Kia Sportage 2025
The main changes in the updated Kia Sportage, as always, will be concentrated in the front part of the body. The reformed bestseller will get a new face reminiscent of the latest Kia models, such as the Sorento, with different lighting, radiator grills, a bumper, and new taillights.
The current engines should remain in service, but the list of hybrid power plants may be expanded.
Kia EV9GT
The flagship version of the largest and most expensive crossover Kia EV9 promises to be made even cooler than the current SUV.
Aesthetically, the car will differ from a simple SUV in some external details, and the main difference between them will come down to the appearance of a more powerful double electric motor in the new product, which exceeds the mark of 600 horsepower. From a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour, the EV9 GT will be able to accelerate in just 4 seconds.
