Meet Hryhoriy Gerasimenko. He is one of the oldest residents of the village of Kuchynivka, which is in the Snovska community of Chernihiv region. The man was born on February 12, 1928 - this year Hryhoriy Gerasimenko turned 96 years old. The man spent his entire life in work - from a young age he went to work every day, built the family house and arranged everything in the yard with his own efforts. What's more, he and his son built a car from materials at hand - wood and unnecessary spare parts.
«My son brought me some spare parts: front axle, rear axle. And then he collected everything himself, wherever he could get it, because at that time there was a lot of everything in the collective farms, it was lying around that no one needed. I collected old spare parts and put them together little by little,» Hryhoriy Gerasimenko is the oldest resident of Kuchynivka.
