The Japanese company Honda is actively developing in the promising Indian market, which is growing rapidly. Models with traditional bodies are preferred here, including classic sedans, among which a new product from Honda will appear in December.
To fight the competition, Honda will present a new generation of the compact sedan Amaze, which will appear in the Indian market on December 4. The design of the third generation of the model looks much more modern than its predecessors of the same name. Designers completely changed the style of the model. The car received new bumpers with air intakes on the sides and a splitter, narrow lighting equipment, hexagonal radiator lining. This is reported by Autocenter.
Trapezoidal shapes are implemented and sharp edges are also used in the design of the rear part of the novelty. There are also new bumpers with thin horizontal reflectors in the lower part, narrow lights with LED elements, as well as a spoiler on the trunk lid.
The interior looks like a miniature version of the Civic with horizontal air vents, a 10,25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, climate control and a steering wheel. In many respects, the interior of the new product is unified with the Honda Elevate crossover. Also, the list of basic and optional equipment will feature various ADAS driver assistance systems.
The new generation Honda Amaze will share a platform with the larger Honda City and the Elevate crossover. Powertrain options are likely to include a 1,2kW/66hp 90-litre four-cylinder petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT. The model will also be available in a natural gas (CNG) version. Honda Amaze will compete with sedans like Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor.
