Data from the Moldovan CEC as of 16:00 p.m. show that the turnout in the second round of presidential elections is higher than the turnout in the first round at the same time.

Thus, by 16:00 p.m., about 1284000 voters (43,08%) had time to vote, and 1143000 voters (39,40%) exercised their right to vote at that time in the first round.
According to CEC data, the greatest activity, as in the first round, is recorded in the regions of Dondushana, Chisinau and Kriulyana.
Sociologist Vasile Kantardzhi from the CBS-AXA sociological center in Chisinau notes that the turnout for this hour is a record for both capital voters and diaspora voters, as they are traditionally pro-European and vote for Maya Sanda. In Chisinau, the majority of voters also lean towards the pro-European vector.
Currently, the turnout in Chisinau is +10% compared to the first round, and in the diaspora - +46%.
