On Sunday, November 3, asteroid 2020 VX1 will pass near Earth.
This was reported by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Ukrinform reports.
According to NASA, the length of the celestial object is 88 meters, its speed is 28 km/h. The distance from it to the planet will be 260 million km.
If an asteroid approaches the Earth at a distance closer than 7,5 million km, and its size exceeds 150 m, NASA considers it a "potentially dangerous object".
