A woman, who did not want to give her name, asked Reddit users for advice, saying that her husband wanted to name their firstborn after a car part. He explains this by the fact that he fell in love with this name when he was still in school. The expectant mother said that she and her husband are expecting a child, and was very happy to learn that they will have a girl.

“My husband told me years ago that in high school he came up with the most awesome name for a girl: Chassi (pronounced Chassie). Now that we are actually going to have a daughter, he brought it up again and I said no almost immediately. I don't like the sound of that name, nor do I want our daughter to be named after a car part,” she wrote.

However, the man continued to claim that it was the only girl's name he ever liked and now refuses to consider other options.

“Now when I bring up the question of what to name our daughter, he shows no interest and says no to the name dump.
