Natural, crispy, with a very appetizing crust. Such chips with cheese are surprisingly tasty and will be a great alternative to high-calorie snacks and snacks. Garlic adds piquancy to chips, and sour cream gives them a mild taste.
Ingredients:
- Thin pita bread (2 sheets) 180 gr.
- Egg 1 pc.
- Sour cream 1 table. l.
- Hard cheese 50 gr.
- Sunflower oil 1 table. l.
- Garlic 1 cloves
- Paprika 1 tsp. l.
- Sil for Relish
- Ground hot pepper to taste
Preparation:
Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Beat the egg with a whisk. In advance, turn on the oven at 200 degrees.
Add sour cream and dried smoked paprika to the eggs. Peel the garlic and pass it through a press or grate it on a fine grater. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix the mixture thoroughly.
Spread pita bread on the work surface. Using a cooking brush, spread the egg mixture evenly over the pita bread.
Sprinkle pita bread with previously prepared grated cheese.
First cut a sheet of pita bread into vertical strips, and then perpendicularly. And then cut each resulting square in half diagonally. The result will be portioned triangles. It is convenient to cut pita bread with a pizza knife. But you can get by with an ordinary sharp knife or scissors.
Line a baking sheet with parchment and grease it with oil. Place the chips in one layer so that the pieces do not touch each other, otherwise they will stick tightly together during baking. Bake the chips for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is browned. The exact time depends on the characteristics of the oven. Most likely, you will not be able to bake all the chips at once, but each portion can be baked on the same sheet of parchment.
Such chips are ideal as a snack with a cold beer. But they will be quite good with sweet non-alcoholic soft drinks. These completely natural ingredients will not leave your guests indifferent, because they have definitely never tasted such a dish.
