Autumn is the time when spiders try to get into houses and apartments. When the temperature outside starts to drop, they are attracted to warm rooms. Therefore, it is best to close the gaps in the window and door frames, to install a dense mesh on the windows.
Spiders enter the apartment through open windows or on the owners' clothes. They can be found in houses with high humidity. If there is little sunlight in the room, then spiders will happily settle in dark corners. Spiders are attracted to flies, mosquitoes and cockroaches - if they are in the apartment.
They like to weave webs in corners where there is a lot of dust or small debris. It can be both on the balcony under the windowsill and behind the batteries. The favorite places of spiders include the hood or the space near the pipes in the bathroom or kitchen. It is these places that should be wiped as thoroughly as possible. In general, maintaining cleanliness at home is very important. You should regularly dust and vacuum under furniture and behind kitchen appliances to get rid of spider webs and eggs.
Spiders are very sensitive to strong smells, so using herbal or citrus scents in your home will help drive them away.
Mix essential oils of mint, eucalyptus or lavender with water and leave traces of their scent in places where spiders often appear, for example, on windows and doors. You can soak cotton balls in the solution or use a sprayer. Spiders hate citrus, so lemon-scented cleaners will help repel them.
Try also to simply catch an uninvited guest in a bank and let him out into the street.
Are spider bites dangerous? In fact, almost all spiders are poisonous. However, due to the fragility of their structure and small fangs, their bite is not felt by a person. Neither inflammation nor poisoning occurs. But just in case, you can treat the place of the alleged bite with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide.
