2-year-old boy Laurent Schwartz, who is called "little Picasso", was offered 250 thousand pounds (13,6 million UAH) for a canvas. Previously, about 30 of his colorful works were sold to collectors at a price of 8 to 12 pounds (434 to 652 UAH) each.

It is reported that a buyer from the US has offered a staggering £250 for Schwartz's debut work entitled Fingers.

The boy's 32-year-old mother Lisa from Bavaria (Germany) says that more than 20 fans hope to buy one of his works, and some of the collectors have come to their homes.

Lisa and her husband Philip discovered their son's artistic talent by accident while on vacation in Italy last year. The boy did not leave the children's room to draw, so his parents made him a studio at home.

Laurent integrates prominent figures into his abstractions. There you can see different animals, for example, his favorite elephants, dinosaurs and horses. It is very important for him that it is bright and colorful, so brown and other boring colors are not suitable, - explained the woman.

When the mother shared the child's first work on Instagram, a New York art critic said that he had "exceptional talent".

The money from the sale of the young artist's paintings goes to a savings account. The boy will be able to dispose of these funds when he turns 18.

I am terribly proud of Laurent. He receives letters from fans every day, Lisa added.
