Iran may have about 10 nuclear warheads by April next year. The Times writes about this with reference to an expert who has repeatedly visited Iran's nuclear facilities.

Former deputy director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Olli Heinonen, who in the past oversaw monitoring of Iran's nuclear program, said the Iranian regime could be just six months away from producing ten nuclear warheads ready for use. According to him, if Tehran "hurries up", the arsenal can be ready by April next year.

According to Heinonen, the rockets fired at Israel on Tuesday night could be used as carriers for such warheads.

At the same time, the expert believes that the use of nuclear weapons will be a "huge risk" for Iran, therefore, most likely, Tehran will use it as a "trump card and a threat."

"You cannot destroy a country with these missiles, but you can threaten it and be in a much stronger position in negotiations. (…) The US president will have to think that there is at least a small possibility of using these weapons, and they should be ready for that," he said.

We also reported that British Typhoon fighters and Type-45 destroyers were helpless against Iranian missiles. During the massive attack on October 1, British Typhoons did not shoot down a single Iranian missile.
