In men, the indicator should not exceed 94 cm, in women - 80 cm.
If your results are even 1 cm more, this may indicate a decrease in the level of sex hormones, vitamin D deficiency, reduced thyroid function, or excess insulin.
In such cases, there is an increased risk of possible obesity, but also cardiovascular pathologies, and even diabetes.
