Based on the results of the study, scientists talked about a simple way that will reduce the risk of premature death. The conclusions were drawn by British specialists from the University of Cambridge.
According to experts, any physical activity, regardless of its intensity, positively affects the prospects of a long life. 96 people took part in the scientists' study. Volunteers were supposed to wear trackers, due to which the level of their physical activity was monitored. As a result, it turned out that loads of medium and high intensity are the most effective.
To reduce the risk of premature death and improve well-being, it is necessary to devote at least 150 minutes a week to medium-intensity activities, for example, brisk walking or jogging. For more serious activities, including active running, 75 minutes is enough.
