Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin supported the initiative to hold "Conversations about important" extracurricular activities in kindergartens, which promote war.
This proposal was allegedly put forward by one of the finalists of the "Teacher of the Year" competition on her own initiative. Putin called it very timely. "Because if we don't orient a young person in space, don't orient him in the flow of information, it's very difficult for him to orientate himself... This work is currently being built," he said.
According to him, it is important to instill "values" in children at an early age, and it will be necessary to involve child psychologists in order to know how to talk with babies:
"Here it is important not to overdo it, only everything should be in moderation and everything should be objective, predictable."
Putin stated that the Battle of Stalingrad (the turning point) was once mentioned "in passing" in school textbooks. The Kremlin dictator also announced the number of dead during the Second World War (more than 20 million people). But he did not clarify that these are residents not only of Russia (then the RSFSR), but also of other union republics - modern Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, etc.
Propaganda in schools
As you know, "Conversations of the Important" appeared in Russian schools at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Officially, they are allegedly aimed at "strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values" and "instilling patriotism", but in reality they are justifying an illegal war to children.
Such "lessons" are also held in the occupied territories of Ukraine. According to the Center of National Resistance, in one of the villages in the Kherson region, children and teachers are forced to sing the Russian national anthem during breaks.
