French President Emmanuel Macron
it was decided that the impeachment initiative does not deserve to be included in the agenda of the open meeting.
In France, the Conference of Leaders of the National Assembly, which unites the heads of all parliamentary groups, rejected the initiative of the far-left party Unconquered France to impeach President Emmanuel Macron. This is reported by Le Figaro.
It is noted that at the meeting, the leaders of the left-wing groups — the Greens, Socialists, Communists and Unconquered France — voted to submit the initiative to the parliament. All others did not support her, in particular, the representative of the National Union, Marine Le Pen, abstained during the vote.
Thus, the ultra-left initiative, which was rejected by the legislative committee last week, will not be considered by the session.
As reported, tens of thousands of people in various French cities protested after the appointment of center-right Michel Barnier as the country's prime minister.
