Simple, tasty, available for every day! Lavash with cheese in the oven is an ideal appetizer for any table. Even a novice housewife can prepare it. It requires ordinary products and little time. Such a dish can be taken outdoors or served for a buffet.
Ingredients:
- Thin pita bread (2 sheets) - 150 gr
- Cheese 400 gr
- Sour cream 2 table. l.
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Greens (Any greens 1,5 bunches) 100 gr
- Sil for Relish
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1 eggs
Preparation:
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Cheese can be of any fat content, but the fatter the cheese, the tastier. It is very important that the cheese is natural, without the content of milk fat substitutes. About 200 g of cheese is enough for one sheet of pita bread, that is, one pack of store-bought cheese. Choose any greens to your taste. It can be green onions, dill and parsley.
Put the cheese in a deep plate or bowl and mash it with a fork so that there are no lumps of cheese or beat it with a blender. Wash the greens in running water, dry, cut and add to the cheese. Add a little sour cream so that the filling is not too thick. Sour cream can be replaced with yogurt, if you carefully monitor the figure.
Add salt and pepper to the cheese filling. Peel the garlic and squeeze it through a press, add to the cheese. Mix everything well.
Spread one sheet of pita bread on the table. Spread a thin layer of cheese filling with greens on it. Turn pita bread into a flat roll or, if desired, simply fold it into several layers.
Cut the pita bread roll with cheese and greens into portions.
Transfer pieces of pita bread with cheese to a sheet lined with parchment or baking paper. Using a silicone brush, carefully brush the top of the pita with a beaten egg for a ruddy crust (you can grease the pita with melted butter instead of the egg), and bake the pita with cheese in an oven preheated to 180 °C for 10 minutes. The time indicated is approximate, focus on the features of your oven.

A little advice for housewives: pita bread does not lose its taste properties for a long time - it can be stored dried for up to six months. And so that fresh lavash does not bloom, store it in the refrigerator.
