For many of us, mascara is just as indispensable as lipstick or foundation. However, makeup without using mascara is appearing in trends more and more often, and here's why.
Mascara is the basis of a classic makeup bag. Most girls can refuse bright lipstick, powder or eye shadow, but they won't go anywhere if they don't paint their eyes with mascara.
It seems that we are so used to thick black eyelashes that we do not recognize ourselves in the mirror without them. Well, or we seem tired or not attractive enough. But while you and I cannot imagine life without a tube of mascara, Western makeup artists have been trying to "cancel" it for some time. Yes, yes, no more mascara, false eyelashes, or eyelash extensions are considered the basis of beautiful makeup! It is still considered the gold standard for red carpets, but in other situations, alternative eye makeup options are increasingly being found.
At first, carcasses were abandoned for hygienic reasons, which in the era of the coronavirus began to be observed even more carefully than before. Unlike other beauty products, mascara is extremely inconvenient to use when working with a large number of clients. If you use new brushes, the consumption of the product is enormous. And if you don't use it at all, then you can think for a long time about all the infections that can be transmitted through mucous membranes.
And now, at Fashion Weeks, models began to appear on the catwalk with unpainted eyes, as usual. And some stars show makeup without mascara in their social networks and even on the covers of magazines.
Of course, such a beauty trend does not imply a complete rejection of the most popular cosmetic product — after all, we are all so used to mascara that we feel uncomfortable without it. However, now it is much more appropriate to refuse excessive dyeing of eyelashes in several layers, especially with bright and unusual makeup.
