Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger was created in honor of the 60th anniversary of the film "Goldfinger", which was released in 1964. It was in this film that Aston Martin first appeared as a James Bond car, marking the beginning of a close relationship between the brand and the iconic franchise.
The Aston Martin DB5 model was used in the film, which became one of the most famous cars in cinema. To celebrate this success, 2020 examples of the DB25 Goldfinger Continuation were produced in 5. Now Aston Martin is preparing a special DB12 Goldfinger Edition.
While details are being kept under wraps, the teaser video hints that the new car will be created with the help of Q by Aston Martin's bespoke division. The model is expected to be powered by a 4,0-liter twin-turbo V8 from Mercedes that produces 671 hp. and accelerates the car to 100 km/h in 3,6 seconds.
The official presentation of the DB12 Goldfinger Edition is scheduled for October 14, 2024.
