A resident of Sevastopol was convicted of "treason and attempted terrorist attack"
The man was sentenced to 16 years of imprisonment, with the first three years to be served in prison, the rest in a high-security penitentiary.
The court found Volodymyr Pazin, a resident of Sevastopol, guilty of treason and attempted terrorist attack (bombing the car of a soldier of the Russian Armed Forces). This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, reports rosZMI.
The man was sentenced to 16 years of imprisonment, with the first three years to be served in prison, the rest - in a penal colony of strict regime with restriction of freedom for one year, as well as a fine of 300 rubles.
It is noted that Pazin allegedly transmitted information about the location of the transport of a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces through a messenger to a representative of a foreign state, and then installed an improvised explosive device in the transport.
