There are a number of problems that comfortable children face in adulthood.
"OUR MOTHER" writes about it.
An indicator of good upbringing for many parents is the child's obedience. An obedient child is a comfortable child. She does not run, does not scream, does not harm. But is she happy? Obedient children do everything that adults say, but lose the main thing - freedom. What can strict education lead to?
Dependence
A child who is deprived of the freedom to be himself and prevented from learning independence loses it. Constantly doing only what he asks her to do, the child loses the ability to initiate. Under such conditions, even at the age of 30, she will wait to be told what to do.
Dependence on others
It is more convenient if a small child does what he is asked to do. But by choosing such a system of upbringing, we make our child weak-willed. An obedient child will not resist, will not object, but will follow the lead of others.
Low self-esteem
Children whose actions are always criticized will at some point lose confidence in their own abilities. In addition, they may begin to believe that they do not deserve your love. Then the child will make every effort to hear your approval. But self-esteem will not increase from this. They will always fight for your love.
Morbidity
Obedient children often suppress their own emotions. But they do not disappear anywhere, and one day they will find a way out through diseases. This is evidenced by psychosomatics and countless studies.
"Difficult" teenager
If a young child is very compliant and obedient, this is often offset by unruliness in adolescence. All that freedom and desire, which were forbidden, find a way out. It is not for nothing that they say that the forbidden attracts the most.
