Production of cartridges of two calibers for the Armed Forces has been launched in Ukraine

Domestically produced 5,45×39 and 5,56×45 cartridges are already supplied to the defense forces

The Defense Industrial Complex in Ukraine has launched 5,45×39 and 5,56×45 caliber cartridges for the Defense Forces, Chroniclers reports with reference to Militarnyi.

"The authors of the blog published a photo from the training ground, where 5,45×39 mm Ukrainian-made cartridges were fired. According to the information on the packaging, they were manufactured in June of this year," the publication reported.

Also, according to the publication, commentators shared a photo of a similar package of 5,56×45 cartridges.

"Some of the packages are marked with the cartridge standard SS109. They are equipped with an all-metal bullet with a lead core and an unhardened steel tip. The author of the photo said that Ukrainian-made cartridges of this caliber have been in service for a long time," the publication reported.
