Soon, the Ukrainian demining machine "Snake" will appear en masse on the battlefield. This was announced by the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko.
It is known that the equipment has passed tests and received certification. The robotic platform is more budget-friendly than foreign analogues, but no less effective.
The platform detects and destroys anti-personnel mines of the PMN-2, PMN-4, PFM-1, OZM-72 types, as well as TM-62 anti-tank mines.
The platform works thanks to the impact mechanism. Thanks to additional protection, the equipment can withstand an explosion from an FPV drone and can localize fire sources.
The production capacity of the "Snake" platform is up to 2,5 hectares of land per day. Remote operation of the equipment is possible at a distance of 3 km from the operator.
