In August 2024, more than 3,1 hybrid cars (HEV and PHEV) were added to the fleet of Ukraine. This is 76% more than last year. This is evidenced by the data of Ukravtoprom.
As noted, the share of new cars in this number was 58%, against 63% last year.
In the segment of new passenger cars, the leader of the hybrid market remains Toyota RAV-4 (414 units)
The second result in Toyota Yaris Cross (134 units).
Closes the August "three" Nissan X-Trail (133 units).
In registrations of imported used cars with hybrid power plants, Ford Fusion US (92 units) became the leader. Also, Ukrainians often bought Toyota RAV-4 (78 units) and KIA Niro (73 units).
Earlier, Ukravtoprom named the most popular electric cars of August. According to the Association, in August, 6445 battery-powered motor vehicles were added to the Ukrainian fleet. The most popular among them were BYD Song Plus, Honda M-NV, Volkswagen ID.4 (new) and Nissan Leaf, Tesla Model Y and Tesla Model 3 (used).
