The Department of Transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Central Federal District announced the arrest of four men who are suspected of setting fire to relay cabinets on the Moscow Railway for money. This was reported by the Russian pro-government news agency Interfax.

The incident took place on the 45 km Elektrougli — Khrapunovo stretch near the Khrapunovo station of the Gorky direction of the Moscow Railway. Two relays and one battery cabinet caught fire.

"Four citizens of the Russian Federation, aged between 20 and 21 years old, who live in the nearest Moscow suburbs, have been identified and detained in connection with the arson," the message reads.

Criminal cases have been initiated against the detainees under the article on a terrorist act committed by a group of persons based on a prior conspiracy, they are arrested. Detainees face up to 25 years in prison.
