The service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs began to issue new driver's licenses

As the head of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mykola Rudyk, said, this is a new model of a driver's license, which contains three letters and six digits of an additional security element.

"These tools are designed to reduce ID forgery", he noted.

According to the head of the GSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, all documents previously issued at service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs remain valid, and citizens can continue to use them. However, it is necessary to exchange the license if the driver's license has expired, if you have updated your profile data or if you have lost the document.

This service can be obtained both online and physically by contacting any convenient service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"To order the service, you must have an ID document and an identification code with you. But there is no need to carry a medical certificate to renew a license during martial lawMykola Rudyk remarked.

To order the service online, you must: log in to the Driver's Office or the Diya application, select the "Driver's license exchange" service and indicate the reason for replacing the document. Next, choose the method of receipt - at any service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, at a branch of Ukrposhta or by courier to the indicated address.
