In Poland, as a result of severe flooding caused by heavy downpours, the first person died.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced this at a press conference on Sunday, September 15, RMF 24 reports.
Donald Tusk reported that a person died in the area of the city of Kłodzko in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, which was badly affected by floods.
He noted that as of September 15, 1,6 people had already been evacuated from the Klodzko district.
"We have the first confirmed death from drowning in the Klodzko area," Donald Tusk said.
