The Saab car brand disappeared from the car market due to bankruptcy, which occurred in December 2011. However, before that, the Swedish automaker managed to release the Saab 9-4X crossover model, the circulation of which turned out to be very small - only 814 units. The copy with number 565, manufactured in 2011, is driving around Kyiv. His photo was published on the topcars_u.a Instagram page.
The Saab 9-4X is a crossover that became one of the last cars of the Swedish manufacturer Saab, which debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2010. The development of the model began as part of the company's attempts to expand its model range and strengthen its position in the SUV market. However, despite promising plans, production of the 9-4X only began in 2011 and was interrupted by Saab's bankruptcy that same year. A total of 814 units of this model were produced, making it a rare specimen on the market.
The Saab 9-4X is a mid-size crossover that shares a platform with the Cadillac SRX. The car was offered with two engine options:
- 3.0-liter V6 with a capacity of 265 hp.
- 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 with a capacity of up to 300 hp.
Both engines were paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and could be equipped with the XWD all-wheel drive system, which provided excellent handling and dynamics. The crossover was distinguished by good indicators of fuel consumption and a high level of comfort.
Although the Saab brand is long gone, some spare parts for such a crossover can be ordered from Cadillac.
