On September 5, houses for squirrels were hung in Kharkiv's Central Park. This was reported in the press service of the park.
The children of the park employees painted the houses — they added Ukrainian ornaments, flags, hearts, and smiling faces.
Andriy Kravchenko, the press secretary of the park, told how in the spring they made birdhouses so that the returning starlings could hatch chicks in them. For the winter, they plan to hang houses for squirrels so that the animals can hibernate.
