The Toyota GR lineup continues to expand, and after the success of the GR Corolla among hot hatchback fans, Toyota is preparing something new. Recent spy shots at the Nürburgring have revealed a camouflaged version of the GR Corolla that looks even more aggressive and track-oriented. MMR writes about it.
The new prototype has a revised design with a raised hood and prominent air intakes, hinting at possible changes to the engine. Widened front fenders give the car a muscular look, hinting at improved aerodynamics and increased performance.
Of particular note is the enlarged rear wing, which is significantly different from what was on the GR Corolla Circuit Edition. Such an aerodynamic element indicates a desire to maximize downforce for stability at high speeds.
Although the exact details of the model have not yet been disclosed, the general design hints that the new variant of the GR Corolla will be even more powerful and productive than the previous versions.
