Brazil and China are calling for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine with the participation of both countries, calling such a step "the only way to resolve the Ukrainian crisis."

China's six-point proposal to resolve the so-called "Ukrainian crisis" does not complement the Ukrainian Peace Formula and does not provide for the support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Ukrinform writes about this on Friday, September 13, according to the Deputy Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations, Robert Wood.

"China's six-point plan will set a dangerous precedent. We are not here to reward violators of the UN Charter," Wood emphasized.

The diplomat emphasized that the fastest way to peace for Russia is the withdrawal of its troops from Ukraine and the cessation of air attacks on its territory.

Wood also noted that Beijing supports Russian aggression through its so-called "no-holds-barred partnership" and large-scale support for the Russian defense industry, which allows Russia to continue its war in Ukraine.

"China supplies Russia with dual-purpose materials, such as weapons components, equipment and raw materials. These supplies include nitrocellulose, machine tools, microelectronics, optics, drones, and technology for cruise missiles that Russia uses to attack civilians and destroy Ukraine's infrastructure. How can China be a supporter of peace if it allows Russia to fight?” Wood emphasized.

In addition, he stated that China is helping Russia spread propaganda and disinformation about Ukraine, justifying the war with "legitimate security considerations." The American diplomat emphasized that "Russia's actions in Ukraine have no legal justification."
