A few weeks ago, a prototype of the new Kia Ceed 2026 hit European roads. That model was tightly hidden by camouflage film. But even then there was information that the future Ceed will be largely copied from the Kia K4, which has already debuted on the American market. Now this assumption has been confirmed due to the fact that the station wagon has lost part of its camouflage.
Judging by the published photos, the Korean model will undergo a large-scale modernization. The station wagon was equipped with new triangular-shaped main optics and L-shaped LED DRLs. The radiator grills have become narrower, but longer. And the front bumper was replenished with a wide air intake. At the stern, the lanterns of the original layout are visible. But their features are still hidden.
The station wagon was tested with a trailer. This means that Kia is currently testing the Ceed to eliminate errors in the operation of the mechanical part and the braking system. No comments on this matter were received from the Korean company.
It is expected that the future Ceed will be equipped with gasoline turbo engines as standard, some of which will be supplemented with a 48-volt starter-generator. Also, several different hybrid installations will be offered with the Korean novelty. The characteristics of the technical part are currently unknown. The official presentation of the new product will take place no earlier than the second half of 2025.
