Iran is supplying Russia with Fateh-360 missiles, which ISW estimates will be used to attack Ukraine's infrastructure. Their use is expected this fall and winter.
This is stated in the report of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Recently, Iran agreed with Russia on the supply of Fateh-360 short-range missiles. It is reported that the country has already transferred more than 200 pieces. According to ISW, the Russian Federation will probably use them to attack the infrastructure of Ukraine.
In particular, analysts mentioned The Times article from September 6. In it, the publication, citing a source from Ukrainian military intelligence, wrote that on September 4, a Russian ship delivered missiles to an undisclosed port on the Caspian Sea.
US and European officials have also confirmed the start of Iran's supply of short-range ballistic missiles to Russia. ISW analysts predict that Russia will use these missiles for attacks during the fall and winter aimed at critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
