The share of Russians who feel anxious since the beginning of the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region has reached 49%, which is a record figure since at least September 2023.
As reported by Ukrinform, The Moscow Times reports this with reference to a public opinion poll of the "Public Opinion" Foundation.
At the same time, 45% of Russians said that calm mood prevails among their environment. This is the lowest figure during the year. The last time anxiety prevailed over calm was in May 2023, when fighters of the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Legion "Freedom of Russia" raided the Belgorod region.
52% of Russian residents called the war against Ukraine the main "exciting event" of recent times, and 28% of them pointed to the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.
