Putin promised to make appropriate decisions "based on threats"
The head of the Kremlin said that if such a decision is approved, it will mean the direct participation of NATO countries in the war in Ukraine.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that the strikes of Ukraine by long-range weapons of Western countries deep into Russia will be considered as direct participation of NATO countries in the war. His words on Thursday, September 12, were broadcast by the Russian BBC service.
According to Putin, in order to use long-range missiles, Ukraine allegedly needs "data from Western intelligence satellites and flight tasks", which, according to the head of the Kremlin, can be provided "only by the military of NATO countries".
"If this decision (permission to strike long-range targets of the Russian Federation - ed.) is approved, it will mean direct participation of NATO countries in the war in Ukraine. This will mean that NATO countries are at war with Russia," Putin said.
He also added that Russia will make appropriate decisions "based on threats."
