The first production Cadillac Escalade IQ electric crossover will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson next month. It boasts a 55-inch curved display as well as an all-wheel drive system with two 750 hp motors.
It is known that the electric car has a battery with a capacity of more than 200 kWh, which should provide a range of more than 740 km. Cadillac and Barrett-Jackson have announced plans to offer the first Escalade IQ at the Scottsdale Fall Auction this October. There's no word on how much it will fetch, but the standard model is expected to cost around $130, with 000 percent of the original price going to the Detroit Children's Fund.
The company hasn't said much about the first production model, but they have released images of the Sport 2 variant in Black Raven. The model has aerodynamically optimized 24-inch wheels, a glass roof and electric doors. The interior is the star of the show as it features a luxurious mix of leather, wood and metal accents. They are joined by a 55-inch curved display, as well as an 11-inch command center.
Cadillac has not released detailed specifications of the car, but it is known that the model has a 200 kWh battery that provides a range of approximately 740 km. The battery powers the all-wheel drive system with a pair of electric motors with a combined output of 680 hp. and 834 Nm of torque. These figures increase to 750 hp. and 1063 Nm in Velocity Max mode.
