If you are tired of messing with beating eggs for sponge cake, try the version of cakes on condensed milk. They are not as airy as sponge cakes, instead they are perfectly saturated with sour cream.
You will need:
- 380 g of condensed milk;
- 150 g of flour;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 tsp. baking powder
For the filling:
- 100 g of prunes.
For the cream:
- 500 g of sour cream;
- 100 g of sugar;
- 2 tbsp. vanilla sugar.
We will start making the cake on condensed milk with prunes by preparing the dough. Pour the can of condensed milk into a bowl. Beat the eggs there. Beat so that the mass becomes lush. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add to the bowl. Beat again.
Take a baking dish with a diameter of 20-22 cm. Grease it with oil and pour the dough into it. Place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for approximately 30 minutes. When the cake has cooled, cut it into four circles.
Now start preparing the filling. Pour boiling water over pitted prunes. Leave for 5 minutes. After that, drain the water and cut the fruits into small pieces.
The cream is prepared even easier. Combine sour cream with sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat so that the mass becomes lush, and the crystals dissolve completely. Done!
Place the bottom cake on a plate. Spread with sour cream. Spread a third of the prune pieces on top. Cover with the second cake and again – sour cream + prunes. Do the same with other cakes.
Spread cream on the top and sides of the cake with condensed milk and prunes. Send the finished product to the refrigerator. It is desirable that he stand there all night. Then the cakes are well sifted.
You can use the same sour cream and prunes for biscuit cakes. Be sure to take sour cream - 25-30%, as the cream will become thinner during whipping. To make it easier to spread the top and sides, send the sour cream to the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
