Keir Starmer and Joe Biden
The first meeting will begin on Monday in London, and the second will begin next week at the White House.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will visit Great Britain on September 9-10. And next week, US President Joe Biden will receive British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Washington. During both meetings, one of the central issues will be Ukraine's support against Russian aggression, Voice of America reports.
The US State Department said that Blinken's visit was designed to "open a strategic dialogue between the US and Great Britain and confirm our special relationship."
Among the topics for discussion are "collective efforts to support Ukraine", as well as cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, the Middle East, and AUKS.
The White House also reported that US President Joe Biden will host British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Washington next week.
As noted, the leaders of the two states will discuss "Western support for Ukraine, which is trying to contain the Russian invasion, reaching an agreement on the release of hostages and a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, threats from the Houthis to transportation in the Red Sea."
